Are you up for it matey ? think i'll do it. just a bit sad at the mo as my mate got killed at the weekend. only 39 got attacked in wrexham and hit his head on the kerb...

Alright jason ! just entered the marathon,So i'll have to start training.I'll be in touch soon to go out on some long runs just need to get a bit fitter. Maybe some others from the club might be up for it as well? Paul.

Paul,
sorry, I can't come as I have to go to Liverpool (my wife is doing the Liverpool 10k on Sunday).
Maybe, another weekend (although I am not planning to start my marathon training before January).
I thought you were doing London next year. What happened? Did you managed to keep the number from last year?

No Denis, i've been in hospital after falling over chasing my daughter and splitting my head open. Lucky for me my daughter raised the alarm! got a cracking scar on my head! lucky to be alive mate. Been off work for 10 weeks, had to have brain scan and lots of tests. Phoned up about deferring my place but i was to late. Just getting back into training but its hard. Just started running again doing a few 3 milers, going for a bit longer tomorrow hopefully.

By the way spoke to a friend in work this week, he has heard that they are thinking of starting the Mersey Marathon again? anyone heard anything??

I don’t know what the planned course is but imagine running through the tunnel and then up parliament St to the finish, NO Way.....

Paul,
Good to see you running. From what you are telling use, you came quite close from not running anymore.
The recovery will take time but you need to be patient. I am sure you will be ready for Blackpool.

Liverpool sounds interesting. I know Parliament Street is tough but I am sure that Blackpool isn't easy on a windy day.
