Dear all, We are trying to organise quality sessions, every Tuesday, until Christmas. We started last week with a fartlek (well attended, I have to say).
I suggest we do Kinsey loop next Tuesday (06/10/09) It will be 4x1100m with 2 minutes recovery.
Please make sure you bring your stop watch with you.

Dear all,
The session we did last week was great. We were 4 runners and we all worked hard
I thought we could try a threshold session next week (13/10/09). I have actually pulled my hamstring last week so providing I can run next week, I don't fancy a fast session few days before the 1st borders league race.
We could try 5 or 6 laps round the blue planets (it is about 1 mile). If some people wish to do a speed session, they could do 3 laps.
For a threshold session, you need to run at your 10 miles/half marathon pace.

I am not sure that the threshold session was a success last night so the next quality session is likely to be more conventional (I will check the schedule with Danny and post it on the board).
I am quite keen to carry on the threshold session myself so it will be re-organised another day (Thursday or Saturday). Please let me know if you are interested.

Jason, I would not like to do the session again this week: I have just done one on Tuesday and that would also mean 2 quality sessions the week before a race. Not really the best preparation for a race.

looks like you were right about missing the quality session on thursday last week denis looking at your good race time on sunday.
Does anyone know what the quality session is likely to be for tonight?
Cheers,
Jason

I think we will do hill reps this evening as we didn't do them last week. 9 times up and then down Mill Lane.
